This is a brilliant example of two different ways
of raising children and /or teaching
that could be metaphorically applied to parents and teachers alike.
I mean, to the way in which parents choose to bring their kids up
and the approach teachers may decide best to educate
depending on the child / student and their circunstances.

My name is César, I am a Primary Education teacher and I'm quite like dogs about the way I value trust, loyalty, faithfulness, friendship, support.... Nevertheless I think that a well balanced education to face nowadays life should have a right balance of dogs and cats characteristics...
It will probably be then when the said "It´s raining cats and dogs..." will have a more logical and full meaning to me. Ha ha.
